The HHL Book Club will meet the 4th Thursday of each month.
Hi! I’m Melanie—a NBPT resident, mother of two grown girls, an artist, a health food enthusiast, a Pickleball addict, and a sponge for anything health or fitness related. I’ll be your facilitator for this Healthy Living Book Club.
Together, we’ll dive into books that explore the many factors contributing to healthy living, longevity, and happiness. We’ll learn about Ikigai (the Japanese concept of having a sense of purpose in life), the Blue Zones (regions where some of the world’s longest-living people reside), grounding, inflammation, neuroplasticity, emotional intelligence, and more.
Our selections are designed for readers who want to make healthy adjustments in their lives—without wading through dense scientific texts (no textbooks, I promise!).
We all bring unique belief systems and personal experiences around health and lifestyle. My hope is that through these books we’ll learn from one another, inspire each other, and walk away with new ideas to support our individual goals. Read with an open mind, come with an open heart… and yes, there will be snacks!

merchandise returns for store credit within 14 days. No returns on Illume Essence, art & unwrapped games. All returns at discretion of the bookseller.

While we do our best to offer as much of our inventory online as possible, the best way to see everything is to stop by! ✨

Curation and "Why Don't You Carry..."
Illume is an experience for readers that's meant to showcase a careful selection of titles much in the same way an art gallery would display an exhibition.
Titles are always shown "cover forward", and our inventory rotates to reflect current reader interests, shifting topics, and obscure finds. That said, we LOVE recommendations! Let us know what you're looking for, or what your favorite reads are. You may find them on the shelves soon!
