The Illume June 2024 Puzzle of the Month highlights the art of Newburyport resident Elizabeth Lorayne

Elizabeth Lorayne is an artist, printmaker, award-winning author, ICF Associate Certified Coach, and accredited Jungian coach. She earned a Bachelor of Science in interdisciplinary psychology, art, and writing from the New School in Manhattan. Elizabeth's creations are deeply influenced by Jungian psychology, dream interpretation, alchemy, mythology, symbolism, history, and nature. Her Childhood experiences investigating the shorelines of the Pacific Northwest, traipsing the concrete jungle of Manhattan as a student, and embracing motherhood have shaped her artistic, literary, and Jungian coaching endeavors. With these rich threads, Elizabeth weaves and explores the transformative power of creativity and the reclaiming of agency, reflecting her personal evolution and ongoing journey. Are all of your products available online?

Curation and "Why Don't You Carry..."

Illume is an experience for readers that's meant to showcase a careful selection of titles much in the same way an art gallery would display an exhibition.

Titles are always shown "cover forward", and our inventory rotates to reflect current reader interests, shifting topics, and obscure finds. That said, we LOVE recommendations! Let us know what you're looking for, or what your favorite reads are. You may find them on the shelves soon!

Whether you're a stacked to the brim library connoisseur, or a minimalist looking for a rare gem... we hope you'll enjoy our open space, find a new treasure, and experience the cozy reading couch🤍
